20/05/2020 - New booking system for the tennis courts

You can now book, re-arrange and cancel your court bookings by either accessing the booking system using a browser (Chrome, Edge, Safari etc) or using an app you can download to your device. There is no need to message in the WhatsApp social group to make future court bookings.

You will need to login into the new booking system using one of the options shown when you launch it, but most will have an LTA account. If you use this option, sign in using your LTA username and password, you will be asked to accept a Privacy Policy (only on your first login). You will then get access to the LTC court booking page.

If you don't have an LTA account, you can set one up here (the lite membership is free) or use one of the other options e.g. google, microsoft

We have transferred all existing books across to the new booking system. Please note, that as we have moved them across for you, you won't be able to cancel them yourself. However, any new bookings you make, are managed by you and you do this using the 'view my bookings' link on the booking site/app. Should you need to cancel any existing bookings, please contact us via the WhatsApp social group.

Any questions, please contact us and we can help you set this up.

12/05/2020 - Courts are open with restrictions

In accordance with current government guidance, the LTA has today confirmed that outdoor tennis can take place from Wednesday 13 May, with singles play only or doubles if *all* players are from the same household. LTA guidance can be viewed here

You must of course be a current member of the club, you can join here. Fees are reduced this year and we are using the same key as last season.

The committee have agreed the following club guidelines:

  • 2 courts can be used if both games are singles
  • Only one court in use if doubles with one household
  • You must use your own balls and initial them to ensure only you touch them
  • Always remain at least 2 metres apart at all times
  • Do not play if you are exhibiting signs of Covid19, such as temperature or a new continuous cough.
  • Bring your own hand sanitisers and use regularly, particularly after entering and leaving the courts.
  • Tubes of new balls can be purchased from the club. Please WhatsApp to arrange this - £4 per tube of 4 balls
  • Please make sure the gates are locked when you leave and your hands sanitised.
  • Be aware that members of the local community may take exception if government guidelines aren't adhered to
